April 4 Docent Orientation, Friday, April 4th, 10 AM to Noon. Adults and students with their parents are welcome to see the Museum, partake in some refreshments and discuss their participation in this year's docent (volunteer tour guide) program.  click here for more info

Music at the Boal Mansion: Saturday, May 3, 2008, performances at 4 pm and 8 pm - a spring concert/reception in the ballroom with Spanish and Scottish music by Kenneth Bé of Cleveland with champagne and fine food in the dining room. click here for more info
May 26 Memorial Day festival (with the Boalsburg village). Monday, May 26, 9 am to 5 pm - Food, music and crafts and a Civil War battle celebrating Boalsburg as the birthplace of Memorial Day. click here for more info

Boalsburg Garden Party for the Declaration of Independence: 1:30 to 4 pm Saturday, July 5 – Free tour of the Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion Museum starts at 1:30 including the portrait and original signature of signer Richard Henry Lee, a Boal ancestor. Free refreshments and a patriotic sing-along in the garden of the 40-acre Boal Estate with thousands of day lilies in bloom.  click here for more info


July 10-13 People's Choice Festival (arts & crafts) (at the neighboring Pennsylvania Military Museum, across the street). Thurs-Sun, July 10-13. Food, music and crafts with hundreds of craftspeople and musicians and tens of thousands of visitors, right across the street from the Boal Mansion Museum. click here for more info
October 11 Boalsburg Multicultural Columbus Festival: Saturday, Noon to 4 pm - A festival in the village of Boalsburg celebrating Boalsburg's unique link with Columbus and featuring ethnic crafts, food and live music. click here for more info.
October 11 Boalsburg Bicentenary Ball: 7:30 PM Saturday - Contra dancing in the 1898 ballroom, champagne and fine food in the 1798 dining room and visits from Christopher Columbus and nine generations of Boals who have shaped the community. click here for more info
October 13 Columbus Day Religious Service (located in the Columbus Chapel) Monday - Celebrating the anniversary of Columbus' arrival in the New World in 1492.
